Strep GBI

A Streptococcal Research Community in Great Britain and Ireland
Strep GBI is an academic conference for the Great Britain and Ireland research community, focusing on bacteria belonging to the Streptococcus genus. Join us to explore the latest advancements and discoveries in Streptococcal bacteria biology and pathogenesis from GB and Ireland.

Our Vision.
Building a Community
The aim of the Strep GBI meeting is to bring together Early Career Researchers and Experts from Great Britain and Ireland in the field of Streptococcus research. The meeting will highlight cutting-edge research focused on crucial aspects of Streptococcal biology, including genetics, cell biology, virulence mechanisms, host immune responses, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the development of novel therapeutics. We hope this environment will promote researchers to share insights, expand networks and develop new collborations amongst researchers in GB and Ireland.
